Welker Family Pool Project

Pool deck with deep blue water and lounge chairs on paver deck

We wrapped up work on the Welker Family’s pool and patio project in August and Justin Welker was kind enough to sit down with us to discuss his project. For the Welker family, having a pool has always been a dream. There’s a pool in their community, but they just wanted their own private pool to enjoy to themselves.

Justin did his due diligence to research pool installation companies on the front range before settling on Rock N Roll Pools. The wait time for other pool installers was a factor. For other pool installers, the wait was significant: anywhere from 6 months to a year.

The fact that Rock N Roll Pools has the experience tying a pool into a paver patio seamlessly was also a plus. He also mentioned that with the sister company, Rock N Roll Stoneworks, he knew it was a great idea to use them as a one stop shop for the pool, hardscaping, landscaping, and lighting. Having one company do landscaping, hardscaping in a patio surround, and a fire pit along with the a pool at the same time was a real game changer in terms of the project he said.

The big wins Justin mentioned:

  1. Justin appreciated Jordan and the team at Rock N Roll Pools’ assistance with tracking down permits and working with the HOA they belong to.

  2. Initially, Justin and his family wanted a simple concrete pool deck but Jordan and Jason mentioned that they may want to consider pavers to make their beautiful home extended to the outside, and complete the full look. Justin said he couldn’t be happier with that decision.

Since installation was complete in late summer, they have had three pool parties, and it was a blast to have their kids first day of school pictures include jumping into the pool. They also enjoy the serenity it provides simply looking out on their back yard and seeing the movement of the water.

Lastly, Justin mentioned he appreciated the up-front way the Jordan and his team handled set-backs including an extensive period of rain, and having to reset the pool once lifted into place. Bad news doesn’t age well, so Justin appreciated the transparency the team had.

We at Rock N Roll Pools wish Justin and the Welker Family many years of happiness in their backyard pool oasis, and thank him for taking time out with us to discuss their project!
